There is a number of NGO networks that fight for this mission on a European level such as the European confederation for Relief and Development (CONCORD), the European Network of Foundations for Democracy Support, the European Network of Independent Political Foundations in Democracy Promotion and Development Cooperation or the Human Rights and Democracy Network.
